A Rose That Grew From Concrete
I am Afro-Latino and at a young age was adopted by white family. Being born and raised in the South, I am from Northeast Tennessee in a town of about 50,000 called Kingsport. I am originally from the Lynn Garden neighborhood and moved from there to a more upper-level neighborhood called Colonial Heights. I skipped all around schools going to four different schools from K-12. I graduated from Sullivan North High School with Honors. I went on to study Entertainment Technology at Northeast State Community College where I received my A.A.S. and Certification while graduating Summa Cum Laude. From there, I immediately transferred to East Tennessee State University where I graduated with a B.A. in Media and Communication focusing on Radio, TV and Film with a Minor in Film Studies.
